Privacy policy
Your photos stay on your device.
ChartSkin does not sell or share personal data. The photos and settings you choose are stored in your own browser and never leave your device. The only personal data we keep is an email address you choose to give us.
What the extension stores
Your chosen theme, the photos you upload, and your display settings (on/off, strength, size, position). They are kept in Chrome's local extension storage on your computer. Nothing is sent to ChartSkin or anyone else.
Where it runs
ChartSkin only runs on tradingview.com pages, where it adds your background behind the chart. It does not read your trading data, account details, orders or browsing history.
What we do not do
No analytics inside the extension, no tracking, no ads, no selling or sharing of data, and no remote code.
The launch email list
If you join the list on chartskin.com, we store your email address, the date you joined and which form you used. We use it only to send ChartSkin news, starting with the launch email. It is stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare. Every email has an unsubscribe option, and you can ask us to delete your address anytime.
Payments
Paid plans are processed by Stripe. Stripe receives your payment details under its own privacy policy; we receive only what we need to manage your plan, such as your email, the plan and the payment status. We never see your full card number.
This website
chartskin.com may use privacy-friendly, cookie-free visitor statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to count page views. We don't use advertising cookies.
Children
ChartSkin is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Your choices and contact
Uninstalling the extension deletes everything it stored. To ask a question, see the data we hold about you, or have your email deleted: Email hello@chartskin.com or send a direct message to @chartskin on Instagram.
